The SPOT Clay Bar is the essential solution for restoring a “smooth-as-glass” finish to your vehicle’s paintwork. This medium-grade clay is engineered to safely lift physically bonded contaminants—such as industrial fallout, tree sap, tar, and stubborn brake dust—that standard washing cannot remove. Its high plasticity allows it to be easily moulded to the contours of your car, while the pleasant fruit aroma ensures a professional working experience. Housed in a durable plastic storage box, the SPOT Clay Bar remains clean and protected between detailing sessions, making it a staple for any serious decontamination routine.
Medium-Grade Abrasive: Perfectly balanced to remove moderate to heavy surface contamination without being overly aggressive on the clear coat.
Superior Plasticity: Easy to knead and reshape, ensuring a fresh, clean surface is always in contact with the paint.
Protective Storage Box: Includes a dedicated plastic case to keep the clay free from grit and prevent it from drying out.
Versatile Decontamination: Effective on paintwork, glass, and alloy wheels, restoring clarity and smoothness across all hard surfaces.
Aromatic Formula: Features a refreshing fruit scent that makes the time-consuming claying process more enjoyable.
Grade: Medium
Scent: Fruit
Material: High-plasticity detailing clay
Available Sizes: 100g and 200g
Packaging: Reusable plastic storage box
Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is thoroughly washed and decontaminated of iron particles.
Soften: Break off a small piece of clay and mould it in your hands (warm water can help soften the bar during colder months). Flatten it into a small disc.
Lubricate: Liberally spray a dedicated clay lubricant or a pH-neutral shampoo solution onto the panel. Never use clay on a dry surface.
Application: Glide the clay bar over the lubricated area using light, back-and-forth motions. Do not apply heavy pressure.
Check: Once the clay glides smoothly without “grabbing,” the surface is clean. Fold the clay to reveal a fresh side and move to the next section.
Rinse: Rinse the car once more to remove any clay residue.
